I confess I haven't spent due time in my little garden.
A while back, I stuck the stem of a broken geranium into the soil of a nearby pot.  Lately I noticed the stem had grown considerably.

Look how far she has traveled. I think she's aiming
for some red geraniums across the patio.

This is the view from the red geraniums.

And a close-up.

I have neglected my little yard.
I used to battle the two, three story pine trees, nearby.
Their needles decorate my 10 x 60' yard.
But now, they are definitely winning.

This is honestly how it looked this morning.

But Jesse came to my rescue, and here are the afters ...

Thanks again, Jesse!

Just because (... and a quick story).

One day Aunt Vonda was with me as I drove somewhere.
At a traffic light, a pedestrian crossed, "dressed to the nines".
A hat, purse, scarf, jewelry, layers of outfit, shoes etc.
All a different color, with make-up to match.
It wasn't Halloween, We looked at each other and smiled.
Aunt Vonda said, "I bet she took a lot of time to create that."
One of God's best, I never heard her say a mean thing. Ever.

A smile for Tuesday ...

Today was the second big day in a row.
You'd think maybe it would be old hat by the
third Grandhunk graduating, but it seemed
even more emotional, as if compounded?

Known as the Bren Events Center or the Bren, it is a 6,000-seat indoor arena on University of California, Irvine campus. Grandhunk #1graduated here in 2016,
Grandhunk #2 graduated in 2017, and today,
Sunday, Grandhunk #3 graduated from
Orange Lutheran High School.

I rode with WonderWoman to deliver Grandhunk #3,
and friends Elijah and Jason to UCI by 12:45.
Shirts, ties, red gown and graduation cap with gold tassel.
The family joined us at 2:30 where filled almost 2 rows.

We waited with the near capacity Bren Center,
the music from the OLU singers was lovely.

Grandhunk #2 and Grandhunk #1
Cousins, Aunts & Uncles

The ceremony started at 3pm, finished at 5 pm, both on the dot.

94% will attend a two-year or four year college in the fall.
Students will attend 116 different colleges in 32 states in
the three countries, Ireland, France and within the US.

Another day of great memories.

So blessed that all three Grandhunks had their four years
at Orange Lutheran High School. A great foundation.
