I have been at the Superheroes house since Wednesday.

Superman & WonderWoman are in Palm Springs on business.

So it's just Grandhunk #3 and Granddog, Laker & I.

And it's good!

Grandhunk #3 home from a long day at OLU 

& then wrestling ...takes time for Laker, 

before tackling 2 hours homework.

After which I watched him play (video game) Fortnite.

The joys of being a Grandma.

Thursday on the way home from Westminster

the clouds were spectacular!

I am always on the lookout for something you might like?

So once off the 22 and 55 freeway, 

at every stoplight long enough,

I took cloud portraits for you & me.

Stratus, cumulus, & strato-cumulus, all for you!

With a bow on it!

A Mother's Day hangover?

I thought that was my nearest description?

No alcohol involved, but an altered state? Maybe.

Back home (I live alone) I find myself staring, then smiling.

 

 

 

 

Neat memories surface, then smiles.

Silly memories = smiles & a chuckle.

Mothers Day dinner was Sunday at SM & WW's house.

4 Moms, 4 Dad's, 1 Uncle & 5 kids.

My MD gift came early Thursday, Friday & Saturday. 

 

I guess I'm giddy with gratitude?

So blessed, so lucky, so happy.

Muse Mail artists send a postcard to another artist each month.

After a terrific Mother-Daughter day on Thursday, here, 

Daughter # 2 (Cheryl) & her Mom & my good friend, Carole

joined us Friday for the rest of the trip, starting with lunch at ...

My favorite drink on the planet, called "Blue My Mind" ...

muddled blueberries, passion fruit & scratch lemonade, no alcohol.

Great food, we sat out on the balcony with a view of the desert.

Then it was off for mainly window shopping at El Paseo.

These too have been best friends since age 5 & 6 

and still so much fun to watch them play. 

They sent the shot above home to their husbands.

 

It was 90' and so we ducked into Starbucks for water.

which included playing with snap-chat & lots of laughing.

Lots of walking, shopping & more laughing.

Armando's, a sidewalk cafe with mist-ers was calling our name ...

(the coke in front is mine, just sayin')

 our unanimous favorite photo is of Carole at Armando's!

A leisurely two hours dinner at the elegant Lavender Bistro ...

Great food & friendship, we returned to our adjoining rooms.

Saturday morning the girls brought us tea, fruit & goodies. 

We decided to go to the 1PM movie "Snatched" 

at the Cinemark Theater. Perfect "Mother-Daughter" fare.

 

We liked the movie & the reclining seats & the popcorn.

Last stop before heading home was ... 

Original Las Casuelas Downtown for the world's best tacos ...

what a terrific Mother-Daughter get away!
