Hi again from Palm Springs!

weather check.

After breakfast in the hotel, we set off for the local Swap Meet.
We found some good buys,

We went to our other favorite, Tommy Bahama's for lunch.
Where we had a toast before the meal.

After a delicious lunch, Carole had Chicken mole tacos,
I had blackened mahi mahi tacos and Cheryl and Erin shared
both a Cuban Sandwich and a Bahama salad.

After we went shopping again, this time starting at Sak's which

which was where we parked.
11

The shops and the area of the Paseo are lovely.
They have couched and umbrella's waiting.

At BB1, after looking, I rested on the couch.

and some people seemed to get great joy in getting this photo.

before leaving for a 7:45pm, we were back to our rooms
for naps, dinner reservation.

We leave Sunday morning, after two very full days of fun.

Thanks for visiting, and please come again?

Day 1592: Well top this!

"kabuki", junk mail collage, kanji & digital

It's the season & some of you over-achievers have
your greeting cards already arriving in my mail box!
It's December 3 people!
Do you already have the Christmas gifts wrapped & the table set?
If you think I am jealous, maybe. Amazed ... definitely!
I'm not even sure if I will send cards this year?
You may get a "rusty treasure" instead, or not.
You probably have started getting cards too, right?
Well, top this...

I feel so lucky to be on Art & Carol's Christmas card list!
Every year I get a spectacular photo from their travels.
Art is the superb photographer & Carol, the skilled writer.

A stunning image & some knowledge too!
Thank you Art & Carol  ...
for allowing me to share your skills.

This sale is 5 days away & of course, I am not ready.
I have run out of procrastinating time.
Today was laundry & "rusties."
On Day#1566 (here) I showed them raw ...
and now I am about half done, so I'll show you ...

adding a washi paper tag ...

yarn, beads, charms & sari ribbon ...

they are still rusty, but have been wire brushed & dressed up to go.

before & after, egg beater & yolk separator

scissors & tweezers

doorknob

rusty tooks

At the wedding last Saturday (here) ...
I got to spend time with one of my heroes, Jean.
I told her about the "rusties" I was making.
She said, "do people like that?"
I said, "I dunno, I just think it's fun?"
Today I have been thinking about that a lot!
So, you better hope people like them, or ...
some of you will be getting rusty Christmas gifts!
And, I do know where most of you live!
