Rain, and more rain. A gift from the sky for three days?

Because of the horrendous fires in Pacific Palisades & Altadena areas last December, rain, though needed, is problematic because of damaging mudslides, from earth stripped of structures & growth.

 

A rainy day, 54' and I have the window blinds all the way up to enjoy this rare sight. As I sit here in the studio, I look out and see ...

 

 

and after ... 

a  rainy day step by step ...

I wanted to do a belated birthday card for Courtney, so I started with a messy sketch ...

and at the last minute, decided to do a stepxstep?

My head was yucky, so I covered it.
Best part of collage is being able to cover up messes.

I usually don't use real images, but why not? 

But, with my initial ink smudge, I still had a lot to cover up?

One of the scraps ended up with a story so I used it. No rules. 

Then the cat sketch?

    I had more fun doing this silly card for Courtney than I have had in a long time. 

Just fun!
