2GN2S

(An especially funny short story from 1180 days ago, when in France in October of 2019 …1180 days ago.)

"I never thought this would happen in my 2,634 days (then) of

sequential posting, but I have to share the toiltettes in Menerbes."

WC: State of the art toilettes.

Pristine and fresh.

Sparkling clean and disinfected after every use...

the sink has soap, water and drying (LtoR) at the sink.

"When you entered, you pressed the locking button for privacy.

When you left, the door again locked for disinfecting.

True story, one of our group kindly held the door open

for her friend to enter. The door locked and promptly

disinfected the friend. That story never gets old."

Millions of Monarch Butterflies

are staging along the Gulf coast right now! They are readying themselves for their annual migration across the Gulf to South America and Mexico.

Seeing Demura Sensei doing Shodo in 2021 is really special. That's such a wonderful art. I wish I was interested in learning calligraphy many years ago. Can you imagine that we have discussions wether children should still learn handwriting?

Thank you Elenor, yes I hate to see handwriting, cursive and calligraphy being literally dismissed. Even my Dad, who was not highly educated, due to the terrible depression here in 1929, had really beautiful handwriting and was proud of it. Sad and short-sighted, in my opinion.
