As I remember ...
I officially sound how my older relative sounded to me when I was young. Prices are crazy. Things are changing faster than I can adjust. Saturday, I attended a bridal shower for the beautiful Raquel, the "intended" of Grandhunk #1, Jordan. The bachelor and bachelorette parties have really elevated to an amazing stay over with a myriad of scheduled events. My wedding 63 years ago (63!?!) was
as nice as we could make it on a shoestring. The reception was in the basement of the church with cake and lemonade. I was grateful to have a shower.
One of the nicest gifts, was my Aunt Luella took me with her to the A&P grocery store and filled almost 2 shopping carts with everything I would need for a kitchen. Amazing, Christmas at the A&P.
