I just got a little tree last week, a Desert Rose (Adenium). It's tiny but has a promising trunk?
About eight years ago, at church one Sunday, they
introduced us to the possibility of sponsoring a child in Kenya.
They had photos of the children to be sponsored. Although
I decided to just look, I feel in love with MaryAnn Akoth.

MaryAnn is in 6th grade. She is in a family of 9, and loves school.
We have written to each other a few times. Last week I fixed a box probably 12"x10"& 3lb-7oz with books, sketchbook, markers, (I know she likes art) odds and ends, I wasn't expecting the total when mailing.

Jacki, as you I also love trees. I always get sad and angry when I see how qickly a tree is cut down - that happens all the time. Luckily we still have lots of trees here in Austria but we have to take good care of each them.
