 Visitors Match the Artwork

France-based photographer Stefan Draschan, camped in galleries for days, waiting for visitors who perfectly match the artworks they observe.

His photo series is called “People matching artworks,” and seeing it at first you might get an impression that it’s all staged. But the artist reassures that these perfect shots are actually achieved using patience. I picked 15 of his original 50 but you can see all here.

One day, a frog decided to climb a tall tree.

As soon as he started, all the other frogs at the bottom began shouting:
“Stop!”
“It’s too high!”
“You’ll never make it!”
But the little frog kept going.
Higher and higher, step by step, until he reached the top.
Everyone was stunned.
How did he do it?
Turns out...
He was deaf.
He couldn’t hear a word they were saying.
He thought they were cheering for him.
Moral:
Be deaf to negativity when you’re chasing something important.
People will doubt you, discourage you, or project their fears on you.
Don’t let that stop you.
Keep climbing.
Your belief in yourself matters more than their noise.

Jacki, I start with your art and think, it's great. Reading the next story, i think, it's so wonderful. Then I read "story time" and think, I must save this encouraging story for my grandchildren. Reading your smiles, I think, how is this possible! Jacki, your are the really best!
Thanks, Jacki, for such much delight every day!
Have a good week ahead!
