I don't check my mailbox everyday. No hurry since I normally receive 4 to 8 requests for donations and even more of the accompanying address labels. But yesterday while checking my mailbox the surrounding white roses called out, "Hey! You got time? We're looking good, don't you want to take a picture?" I looked and agreed. Here ya' go.
Jacki, these white roses are marvelous! Here I saw the first blooming rose today. It was nearly like a summer day, so sunny and warm. But we have to be aware that it might get frosty in the next week. Looking for a translation I found this: in France, Poland, Germany, Austria, Switzerland and other parts of Europe: according to popular belief a period in May with increased likelihood of night frost falling on the feast days of certain saints thus jointly nicknamed "Frost Saints" or "Ice Saints" I bet you never heard of this before. Happy weekend, Jacki!
