I missed Easter with the family due to house repairs. So I rode from the OC to Henderson with  SM and WW on May 8, and I am here for Mother's Day.  It's been a restful trip, I've stayed home on some of their outings, choosing to rest, read or do blog stuff. Outside in their lovely backyard is my favorite place to read or just be.

Saturday it got up to 100' so SM put the misters on, and it was perfect. Sunday there will be 10 of us for church, and then to bowling, back home to swim & eat.

Wishing you all and your Mom's a wonderful Happy Mother's Day and all the terrific Mom-Dad's and non-birth Moms who give their time and love to be great Moms. I've always admired "Moms"who make room in their family to bring in still more. Mrs. Herbert was just such a Mom to Nancy and Jim and me too when they took me with them on camping trips where I learned to water ski on the Kern River. Or Karen & Jack Woy, parents of Lance and Kerry, who made room for young WonderWoman in high school trips to Mullahey, Mexico and also ski trips. I include Aunts and Uncles too. We are all in this together.
