I love making postcards so much,
I mail one to everyone who takes one of my classes.
I am still working with this undesirable w/c paper,

I bought it on sale & will use it up & never use again.
It has a blotter feel, colors are absorbed & dulled.
My opinion, Strathmore is far superior.

I will try to combat it with collage.
And so ... a step by step.

quick sketches
with an ink brush,
followed by
watercolor skin tone,
then more color
for background.

step 4

Then ready to collage ...

step 5

just playing and seeing what fits.
