Day 1358: How can they do that?

"Repo-girl", collage & watercolor

Last year I was given a holiday gift for April 13, 2016!
From four former students, for me & a guest.

L to R, top to bottom, Roy, Jared, Michael & Kim

For months, all I knew was to save the date?
Then the tickets were delivered.

Four months later, Daughter #2, Cheryl picked me up
and we went to Leatherby's  Cafe Rouge

for dinner before the performance ...

cheers with Daughter #2, Cheryl

then a short walk and it's time for  ...

Shen Yun

Through the universal language of music and dance,
Shen Yun weaves a wondrous tapestry of heavenly realms,

ancient legends, and modern heroic tales,
on a journey through 5,000 years of Chinese culture.
Its stunning beauty and tremendous energy ...
 leave audiences uplifted and inspired.

Gorgeous floating bodies and amazing acrobatics ...

how can they do that?

Wonderful music, colors ... an experience.

Thank you Roy, Jared, Michael, Kim and Cheryl ...
for a truly wonderful evening.

Meanwhile, in LA ...
