I flew here to Henderson last Saturday. Cheryl and Johnny drove me to the JSX airport and Erin met me in the 104' Las Vegas at 4 PM. Their house has A/C so is always comfortable. When I was young, the sun and I were great pals. Now at 84, I stay out of the sun in order not to turn into a French fry!

Sunday we went to church together. WW went ahead as she is on the Hospitality team, Bassel is Security, but we all sat together, Zack, Jordan, Raquel (Jordan's wife of seven months, Tina, Raquel's Mom and Larry, Raquel's Dad. We almost fill an entire row. That evening we all got together again for pizza ordered in. A lovely day. I hope your Mother's Day was terrific too?

Meanwhile we received a Mother's Day photo from GH#2, Jacob and Manu (Emmanuele), Mr. and Mrs. Salloum in Orange County.

Monday, WonderWoman and Superman flew to Hawaii early. SM has business meetings and WW has shopping?

They decided they would stay on their stateside time, so got up at 4 AM this morning and went to the gym there! Meanwhile at home, when Raquel, Jordan and Zack got home from work Monday, we had a casserole that WW had made ahead, I fixed my famous green beans.

Then we four watched Remarkably Bright Creatures on Netflix. It was excellent. Good friend & artist, Irene had said I would like it and I did. We all did. Sally Field was great.I had to tell Zack, she's Forrest Gump's Mom, so he would know who she was.

Afterwards Grandhunks 1&3 played golf, tennis, basketball and even sword fighting. Two brothers playing can be amazingly loud, but Raquel and I laughed and enjoyed the competition. We were all off to bed by 11 pm in preparation for a busy Tuesday.

The adventure continues tomorrow ...

A 3 minute video,  Kauii Bird song, here.

Just because ...

Hamerkops (Scopus umbretta)

You can tell by a few giveaways:
• Color: Rich brown plumage all over • Bill: Long, straight, and flattened — looks a bit like a shoe • Crest: That distinctive backward-pointing crest on the head, which gives them the "hammer-head" look. "Hamerkop" actually means "hammerhead" in Afrikaans • Shape: Compact, heron-like body with long legs

Wednesday's Smiles ...

Hoping you feel all the good things in your day.
