Modern Woes of Credit.

I just received my third replacement credit card this year! Because of repeated spam charges, each time I have had to close the account and establish a new account, and get a new card.  Now I have to contact any accounts where I normally use that card to pay and register the new number. Visa has been good to track down the culprits, but I keep getting new ones. Another sad reality to deal with. I know I am not alone, but I do worry for the people who may not check or know the steps in how to defend themselves?

Throwback Thursday:

Shogun, 16 weeks, and the young WonderWoman, age 5,

Yorba Linda, CA, 1978

During a keeper talk at the San Diego Zoo, the staff brought the otters closer so families could admire them.
First, the mother otter proudly approached, holding her baby for everyone to see. The children nearby lit up with joy and cheered warmly.
Then her partner stepped forward. In his paws he carefully carried beautiful rock.
Otters are known to form strong attachments to their favorite rocks, often carrying them as precious possessions throughout their lives.
