Early this year, by default?
When WonderWoman was a little girl, she says she remembers me still wrapping Christmas presents late after her bedtime on Christmas Eve. She is right. Ever the procrastinator, I plead guilty as charged.
However there was a "good" to come out of it. It was then that WW decided that she didn't want to be a procrastinator. As an adult, she is as far from that label as almost anybody. She has a habit of being early, in shopping, wrapping etc. I often see a wrapped package, and upon asking, find that it is someone's birthday gift for next month?
I bring this up now, on the 19th of December, because I am 90% ready for the holiday. I can't take full credit though, it is surely by default. You see I will be leaving for Nevada in a few days, so gifts for here need to be done and delivered before, and everything for NV needs to be ready to go. I will be riding along with super-fun Grandhunk #3 which makes a 4 hour drive easier. I fly home a few days after Christmas.
How about you? What are you doing? Are you all done and ready? Sipping cocoa and watching holiday movies perhaps? Oops, that reminds me, I have the had the kettle on for a while to make Maroccan Mint tea.

Jacki, I had to smile when i read that you're a procrastinator. Maybe I'm too? I often try to be early but ideas are only coming when the date is near. So, I already have nearly all presents at home ready for wrapping. Even my collage cards will be ready in time - at least I hope so.
I'm sure you are already looking forward to your visit in Nevada. Have a good journey.
Yes! I am up to 98% gift/card ready now, but 0% packing ready and I leave tomorrow afternoon. I will go to lunch today with Zack (GH#3) and we talked over an hour during his 4 hour drive to CA from NV,! I;o) knew he was tired from a full work day before the long drive, but we had lots of laughs. His brother then called him, so I think he took over?
