Running errands with WW.
We parted ways at Target, each getting as per our needs. I was going to lean on a shopping cart, but decided to go defenseless. Erin took a mini basket. I bought a $10? shower cap and a lip gloss, done. WW picked several gift cards and holiday goodies. We rejoined forces at the self check out, a first for me, so I was fumbling and WW took over and we were done and on our way out. WW ran into Whole Foods to drop off my Amazon return. I am so glad they make the return so easy, with WW's help. We went to the District around Green Valley where shopping is very nice.
We went to a new to me store, Aerie. Obviously popular with the Young and Restless females. WW got gifts for young ladies on her list. I got two long-sleeve sweatshirt shirts, deep green and wine-ish for me
They had nice furniture for sitting and people watching. I excel at both. WW did some solo shopping while I supervised from afar. She got three different compliments from other shoppers! I have never been stopped to hear how cool my shoes are?

Have you? I took a picture of WW's shoes as I thought I should share? At one end of the District Promenade is the Green Valley Cinema, Casino and more stores. Lots of eateries, and as you can see, a beautiful 63' day.
We met Superman for lunch at North Italia, more great food.
Located 330 miles above the Arctic Circle, Utqiagvik experiences this phenomenon because of Earth’s axial tilt. During winter, the Arctic is angled completely away from the sun, creating a season where night replaces daytime entirely.
But life doesn’t stop. Schools stay open, shops run normally, and families head to work wrapped in layers of light. Residents rely on lamps, strong routines, community events, and vitamin D to stay balanced during the long dark stretch. The reward? Afternoon stars, glowing snow, dramatic blue landscapes, and occasional auroras dancing over the frozen Arctic Ocean.
The sun won’t reappear until late January — but when it rises, it feels like a holiday.
Wednesday's Smiles ...

Carrol here: what a beautiful day you had. Thank you for sharing it Jacki. Have a lovely Thanksgiving. You and I have so many things to be grateful for in our lives.
Thanks Carrol, I am always concerned that the daily stuff is too boring? But, like you several have mentioned that they enjoy it? Go figure? Thanks so much for your kindness.
Jacki, I too enjoy hearing about your daily life. Some things are different to mine, I often think my world is a mini world compared to yours.
I'm glad you can enjoy your time with your family. Just being together is enough to be happy.
I'm so glad my town isn't north of the Arctic Circle where the winter night goes over 65 days. Our night now is a bit longer than 15 hours and that feels really very long.
Thank you Elenor,we are waiting for Duke, the new puppy to arrive, there will be pictures in tomorrow’s blog. It’s like waiting for Santa Claus! ;o) Happy, Happy, Healthy Thanksgiving to you, your beautiful family and friends!🥰🎉🙏
