Do You Know the Brian Andreas & Storypeople?
Friend and super Great-Grandma Wendy responded to a recent blog, saying that she enjoyed the Storypeople by Brian Andreas, that I often include in the blog smiles. I responded, " I am glad you enjoy the Storypeople, as I am a fan too. Storypeople are such a great combo of quirky art, thoughts, humor and love. We all need that."
When I did the advertising for the popular ARTbar in Sabta Ana's Artist District, they carried a lot of Brian Andreas products, and I purchased some then. I have a few paperbacks here somewhere? And I truly treasure the two recycled wood wall sculptures shown at left & below.
People can get a free daily Storypeople image by signing up here. I enjoy his ands his son's work daily.
<-"If you hold on to the handle, she said, it's easier to maintain the illusion of control/ Bit it's more fun if you just let the wind carry you." (10x38")

| "For a long time she flew only when she thought no one else was watching." (11x19") My favorite daily Storypeople is still this ... |
"My grandmother was big & solid. My grandfather was tall & thin. They looked an unlikely couple. I asked them once how they ended up together. My grandmother said she won him fair & square in an arm-wrestling match. My grandpa just smiled. I let you win, he said."
Sunday's Smiles ...
Hoping you feel all the good things in your day.

thank you for sharing the link to Brian Andreas! I love his words and art so much!
You're so welcome, Lorraine. I think I did share the link, but quite a few years ago now? I agree, I love his work, though I think most of the new work is done by his son. Have a great weekend.
Jacki, I love the idea, that art is a quiet rebellion and a refusal to let the world dim our light. I think that's more important now than we might think.
Thanks for today's lovely blog.
Have a good week ahead!
Thank you Elenor, I have quite a collection of quotes! I might have to do a blog of quotes someday/ ;o)
