I hear periodically from Awagami Factory, they make beautiful papers in their family mill and of their Japanese heritage craft. Latest news is ...

Awagami x Issey Miyake Exhibition

Awagami has again been honored to collaborate with Issey Miyake on a new collection of couture washi clothing.  An exhibition celebrating the collection “On Kamiko” is now up at both Issey Miyake’s Tokyo & Osaka galleries. Accompanying the clothing are photographs printed on Awagami “Bizan” inkjet washi. More information, here.

Japanese papers are the best I can imagine. Making them into clothes is a unique tradition in Japan. And their natural dyed strings have the most beautiful colors.
I also love your last smile. YOU are always an encourager, Jacki, and I'm very grateful for this.
