Today is ...

If you are free & in the area today, maybe come visit.

Our families young author - update!
As mentioned here, 16year old Jayden is a published author.

Jayden met with the owner of Black Dog Books on Main Street today and pitched her book to the owner, asking her to sell her book in the store on consignment. The owner wasn’t sure what a smoothie bowl was, but she was intrigued once she saw
the pictures and learned she was a sophomore at Zionsville HS.

The owner agreed to put it in the store and out on the table
right by the door after negotiating the financial arrangements.  There happened to be a group of young women there, probably around 20 years old, and the all gathered around Jayden’s book
and were excited that Jayden both wrote and took the photos.
Jayden autographed several copies and left them in the store.

Just the beginning of her adventures, I am sure.

A smile for Sunday ...

Sometimes you get lucky.
We were when WonderWoman met Superman.
She had had boyfriends, but none serious.
Twenty-seven years ago she came home saying she met a guy
at the gym who said that she didn't know it,
but he was going to marry her.
Our reactions were dubious at best.
I regret those doubts now, realizing he was, and is a blessing.

Dated three years and married for twenty four.

Superman is from a great family, loving parents and
two brothers who are all so close and laid the groundwork
for the wonderful man, husband and father he is today.

My favorite Dad photo, and there are many.
Superman reading bible stories to his three boys at bedtime.

It's a Mom's dream to have a great husband for her daughter ...
and a loving, caring Dad for her Grandsons (aka Grandhunks).
My dream came true.

Because of him, these young men are strong & have good hearts.
They know to to treat the women in their lives because
of the love and respect he shows to his wife, their Mom, WW.
