Yesterday I met good friend and wonderful artist, Irene at Art Supply Warehouse. We ate lunch at a nearby Mexican restaurant and caught up on each other. It is always special for me, whenever we have time together.

I was getting ready to put my ASW purchases away, when I thought I might share what I bought? It's so easy to want everything, but I used some restraint and still have a balance left on my generous gift card from the Nomura's.

(markers and brushed are my kryptonite)

At a small bakery in Spain, closing time doesn’t mean the end of its purpose. Instead of discarding unsold bread, the baker places it outside, hanging neatly where anyone passing by can take it freely.
There are no signs, no questions, and no expectations — just a quiet understanding that food should reach those who need it. By morning, the bread is usually gone, having found its way to someone who needed it most.
It’s a simple act that preserves dignity while reducing waste, turning an everyday routine into something meaningful. Sometimes, the kindest gestures are the ones that ask for nothing in return and leave no one feeling seen or judged.

You must as in paradise at the Art Supply Warehouse.
I'm always so glad to hear about all these kind people. Your last smile is perfekt.
Today my oldest friend for decades died. It's so sad.

Oh Elenor, I am sorry for your loss, words don't seem to help much, but it is a hardship we face more and more as we age. I remember how sad my Dad would be when someone passed, and now I feel it too. Please take good care of you.
