Dear friend and artist, Elenor sent photos.
Dear Jacki, We are spending some beautiful holidays here in Crete. It's not our first visit to this wonderful place, but every time you can discover something special.
The highlight of this stay was a visit of Knossos. I think it's one of the most important places of European culture and history which dates back about 8000 years. I can't tell all of it, so here is a link in English with very nice pictures and explanations.

This blog is again so positive, Jacki! I loved to read about the many generous people who really care about those in need. That gives me so much hope to believe that greed and money aren't the only things that count our world.
I'm glad you liked my poor pics. I'll send you some more of the artifacts we could admire at the archeological museum of Heracleon in Crete.
We just returned home from Crete today.
