Powerful statues of stainless steel nuts

(by Jean Martin in Saint Barth)

Steel Lace Sculptures, Elegant, both solid and airy, standing or sitting, they shine in the sun or under the light and are resistant to rain and marine elements

I have lived in Saint Barthélemy for almost 10 years. Before becoming a full-time artist, I was a welder and I came here to practice this profession. This activity allowed me to discover not only the stainless steel work which has become the main characteristic of my art but also to explore St Barthélemy by working in villas with marvelous views
Under 1 minute video, here.

From 2019, a stamp person postcard today.

Not my favorite substrate, as it's not enough space to really exaggerate.

I used a real stamp, sometimes I use a photocopy.

I used handmade paper for the two backgrounds.

Using junk mail grey newsprint to start forming the body.

And security envelope liner for his jeans.

Pale pink junk mail for the shirt.

More junk mail for socks, cuffs and jacket.

backside of postcard

A Bravo marker for outlining & a Gelli Roll white pen for shoes.
