A lovely day, and yes, we have Sakura in TustinNot so many, but they are in bloom.

Now. So I took a few shots to share.

I read that Japan gave 3,020 cherry blossom

(Sakura) trees to the U. S. in 1912 to celebrate ...

the nations' then-growing friendship.

Thank you Japan.

Too good not to share.

I rarely but flowers for myself, but this week I did. Gorgeous orange-red-yellow tulips. They don't last long, but I caught some to share.

How beautiful these Sakura trees are blooming. Here the cherry trees will bloom in a week or two depending on the temperatures we will have the next days. Right now it's pretty cold again.
But I already saw the first tulips blooming. I love them too.
Thanks for the hug, Jacki. I send one back to you.

Jacki, maybe I was just in the mood: but this blog is stellar! Your art is always amazing, but this one just hit me. The cherry blossoms are an amazing feat of nature. (We don't have them here where I live, but there are these trees that first get small pinkish lavendar blossoms, then they evertually get green leaves, and the bees and I love them.)The tulips are always the ballerinas of the flower family. But I usually hesitate to get them, then a day later the petals are laying on my table. Your photos were lovely. So I'll pretend they were mine. The video of Ruth Rae made me want to buy a sewing machine again. So, so creative: a jewel. I will save this blog and watch it again. And the "funnies" were indeed that and too true. Love you, my creative friend and attitude changer. You rock.

Thank you dear Carrol! I love hearing from you. Yes Ruth Rae is amazing! I know what you mean, and I would trot right out and splurge on a free motion sewing machine, I really would, but it would have to come with a little elf to thread the needle and change the bobbins, or I would be at a standstill. ;op
