Sunday was day 2 at Crescendoh Studio in Santa Ana.

Pam Garrison & Jenny Doh

Day 2 was dedicated with working acrylics, inks, paints

& ink markers, pencils, on both sides of a 14 x 16" wood panel.
It's at this point that I need to note that I only had photo access
to my own work, and there was much better work being done
by all of the other 15 artists within the class.

One side, (above) still in a work in progress, needs lots of work.

The second side (above) also a work in progress,
will hopefully be saved eventually with collage. I ran out of time.

In between working on the wood panel, we were encouraged
to work in the journal that we made on day 1.

Mine has 40 pages of varied page sizes, and is 7-1/2" x 10-1/2".

The quote was from a reading by Jenny Doh, before class.
Referring to being free & disregard the known art rules.

still in progress "experiment"

Even though unfinished, there were parts I liked ...

If you get a chance, I highly recommend taking a class with
Pam Garrison, an extremely knowledgeable, dynamic
& thorough instructor. And, the classes at Crescendoh Studio provide a great, nourishing environment with
top instructors in the field.

Thank you Pam and Jenny.

A thought for today ...

A smile for Monday ...
