Today was market morning at Saint Saturin les Apt.
It's a  small village on the hillside in the Puy-de-Dôme
department in Auvergne in central France.
Built originally on a hillside for protection,
this is a smaller village, population 1500.
everyone seemed to know everyone.

Having fun, the food is wonderful, more than
I usually eat and oh so healthy!
Many vegetables every meal, and fruits.
I sleep great and have done some shopping and
some art work in my room.

Seems everyone carries at least one straw basket
to but fruits, veggies and especially bread. almost everyone
had at least one baguette sticking out of their basket.
This bakery is famous, people drive from miles away
daily to pick up fresh croissants and breads.
Including the hamlet where we are staying.

I come here to the library at 9 pm
to use the wifi, it works better then.
Done at 10:55 pm.

Ah! I see that you have found a bakery on the trip. Me, too. It is called Tartine and is way too close for comfort! Love the photos of French village architecture. :-)
