Saturday I went to ASW to spend my gift cards and then some. Kind of like Costco or Trader Joe's, where I always get more than planed.

I was there to get heavy watercolor paper, pen nibs and ink. Going in I noticed that they had several murals on the outside of the building. So before I came home, I walked around the building and shot so I could share with you.

I really liked it, it's a joyous look that suits an art building and I am so glad that the owner realizes that. As I was walking I noticed a figure in the distance, kicking a thing ahead of him ...

I went ahead shooting. As he got closer, I asked if I could take his picture? He seemed puzzled, but agreed.

So there it was, an artist rolling a humungous chuck of a tree trunk on a little platform with wheels, he asked if I wanted him to pick it up, I said no it was fine I noticed he had a take-out lunch for sustenance.

Making art is hard work, but so necessary.
