It's that time of year when 4-H activities in Indiana are coming to end, projects have met their deadline, judged and awards given. I so admire 4-H and all of the many "4-H'ers" who work and learn all year in preparation for now. I am planning to share, but in the order that I received the photos and names thanks to Sheryl Cassis & Alana Davis, Super Moms! So, the components of Lucie' project.

She made the hat out of cardboard and covered it with satin from a wedding dress that she thrifted from Goodwill last year. Grand Champion in Wearable Arts for construction and Fashion Review. Not easy walking in the bird cage!

Oh, 109°F, that's really hot. Here we have had bad weather the 4 th week now. Nearly every day more or less rain and cool temperatures. It started after a heat wave in June with the beginning of the school holidays. What a pity for the kids.
I'm so glad you had a good time with your family. Being with family is always my best time. I'm sure you feel the same, Jacki.
And afterwards I struggle to get used to be without them again. But I tell myself that I have to be grateful that they are honest and good people and that they have to live their own life.

Thank you for your feedback, Elenor. Yes I took that picture from inside Erin's car which had A/C and very pleasant. When you get out to go into a store, it is warm but the store is also A/C so it's not as bad as it sounds. Have a great week!
