Day 431: Grandson has a sense of humor!

I am blessed with three terrific teenage grandsons.

Some might say those two words are ...

mutually exclusive, but not in my case.

One said, "it must drive people nuts ...

to read your artwork Grandma!"

Day 430: All is well with the Pacific!

Checked, and the Pacific is still there.

At San Clemente Art Supply today for a printing workshop ...

with dedicated Instructor, Pamela Smith Hudson.

A six hour workshop ...

on contemporary printing without a press.

Starting with leaves & a gel printing plate ...

ghost print, black ink



and black ink ...

later adding layers of color ...

until it was time to refuel.

Then, back to work!

Using a variety of techniques ...

including encaustics!

So much talent ...

among this group of fourteen ...

 all creating beautiful one-of-a-kind prints.

Six hours of productive bliss.

A progressive venture that turned into an adventure.

We all started with a new 220 page empty journal.

Three ways to spend a Sunday ...

Go to Orange Lutheran High School

for a Patriotic Choral Concert.

Listening to 6 choirs, 200 angelic voices.

My grandson is the cute one on the right.

The finale was a touching tribute to the armed forces.

People who had served in each branch of the military

were asked to stand during their theme song, 

the audience clapped in appreciation.
