In Karate tradition it is considered good luck to
train in the first class of the year.
Said to set the tone for the rest of the new year.
Those of us lucky enough to train at the hombu dojo,
Shito-Ryu, Genbu-Kai Karate-Do, a traditional style,
have the advantage of training with Demura Sensei.
That has to be considered not only good luck,
but a blessing.
