Sunday Brunch with the Morris Family

There are definite advantages to teaching students who continue for years, or in some cases, decades. Such is the case with Colin. My student since age 7, we have a boat load of memories to share, which can easily be too much for a lovely brunch. Pat Davidson, Colin's Mom joined us in remembering and enjoying her new granddaughter.

Colin and beautiful wife, Jill, give birth to precious Millie Louise Morris a month ago and today amid our endless stories, I forgot to take pictures to share, so Colin sent me a couple, he's so good to help.

Jäger, is Colin's 11 year old Weimaraner, that Colin has raised since 7 weeks. He is now Millie's greatest fan and babysitter.

They will be great friends.

A beautiful day, thanks Jill for a lovely meal and your kind hospitality.

  1. I am so glad that somehow I got back to posting as Carrol instead of Anonymous. That was way too much pressure knowing how many artworks I would have done over the centuries. :) I loved, loved the 2 minute cartoon and will show it to the grandchildren today. (I guess they will always be grandchildren to me, even though one is now taller than his Grammy!) All the photos of your wonderful friends and your loving family: all the art you produce for us to see: all the articles of interest: and the jokes and thoughts you post. have made this crazy and very worrisome year bearable. Thank you Jacki. Not only from me, but from a dear friend of mine who is suffering some real health issues and told me how glad she is that I gave her your blog info. You do make a difference in many lives.

    1. Aw Carrol, you are so kind. Your sweet words boost me when I am dragging' bit today, so many things rambling around in my brain and me trying to get stuff done, is like herding cats. But when I get like this, I remember whatever I get done will have to be enough? Thanks again I told someone if I had a boss for this blog, I would have been fired long ago.
