Good News and Blessings.

So happy for GH#2, Jacob and his beautiful bride, Emmanuelle (Manu) are now Mr and Mrs Jacob Salloum. I admire their desire to have a small intimate wedding in their church with just their families, with possibly a more inclusive celebration at a later date. Their love for each other is so strong, as is their faith in God. Our families are all so happy for them.

Two weeks before Christmas!

Two days ago, a delicious black package was at my front door. While I did tear it open, I did not open the gift inside, as it wasn't time. The beautiful gift was from Lynn, aka Rad Nana, an artist and good friend that I have never met, yet. I have told her that it's a good thing she lives in Colorado, or I would be knocking on her back door to see if she could come play. She told me that she found me on Jane Davie's list! The Jane Davies sees my silly blog? Wow! Hi Jane! So, for about ten (?) years now, we have been in touch, commented and shared. Thank you, Rad Nana!

There are now around 500,000 redwood and giant sequoia trees growing across the United Kingdom — far more than the 80,000 or so left in California.

Introduced during the Victorian era as a symbol of wealth and prestige, these majestic trees were planted on grand British estates.

Over the centuries, they quietly took root and flourished, thriving in the cool, wet climate of the UK.

Today, these towering giants stand as living monuments — reminders that nature can adapt, endure, and find a home anywhere.
