One of the benefits of teaching for a hundred years ...
is that my students sometimes ask me to go to lunch!
Meet Carolyn, after a hard workout at about eleven.
And again in 1997, after surviving the marathon.
Well Carolyn is all grown up. A college graduate,
world traveler with a State Department job.
She wanted me to meet her fiance, Nate.
We ordered lunch quickly as Nate was hungry!
We devoured persian food and I approved of Nate.
Makes me feel good to see this handsome young couple
ready to tackle the world. I predict a great future.
And ... I have a great track record on these things!
