Day 79: A blast from the past ...

Looking through photos,  I came across work from 2003.

I took grandson Jordan (5) to the Newport Art Museum

for a special day for families.

Holding the totem he made, Jordan is mesmerized by the painting.

One of the highlights of the day was a performance 

by the Danza Azteca Xochipilli dance group. 

Dancers in beautiful, authentic costumes presented the proud

traditions of the Aztec people through music and dance.

And, later I was commissioned to do this poster.
