I have said before I love old photos.

This old black and white is not of family, but
adopted from a basket of old photos at a flea market.
Some photos just get to you?

If you like the original better than my version at top,
I understand. Hard to top an original.
But, the adoption papers specified that I would play.
With the magic of digital, I can make versions,
and leave the original unscathed.
Ah, technology! When it working, it's heaven.

My first time to train in over a month, part of getting back to work.
Maybe you know that feeling of being away too long?
It was due to my wonderful trip and then some health issues.
But no more excuses. Even though our class was small today,
it felt so good to be back. We did a lot of kata.
Kata is always the first thing to go.

I have 4 cousins, Katha, Donna, Nancy and Martha Mae.
But today's story is about Donna.

Donna

My dear friend Carole sent me a blog comment on Day 2646, here.
Carole said "I know how it is.  Many times, thoughts run away from me or evade me.  Most of the times, they come back;
but too late.  I, then, need to keep them for another day."
I responded:
"My cousin Donna, keeps a little notepad with her and has lists and notes. I have teased her in the past, but now I understand.
She's smart & organized. I need to follow her example."

"I think that may be my blog."
