In Marseile, and in particular, a small hamlet, Les Bessacs.

Wifi is very slow, so just 9 pics for today.

This is the little hamlet where we stay.
WE LEAVE AT 9 am to go tour wherever David takes us.

I thought I'd share the dining room, overlooking the pool.
12 chairs, but 11 in our group. We change seats each meal.

Our napkins rings are numbered to save on laundry, I'm #12.

View from the pool doors of the dining room former stable.

The window shows the thickness of the old walls, throughout.

Meals are relaxing. Three course gourmet meals.
Tonight's meal was an elegant salad followed by ...

A vegetarian pie of eggplant and more.
The crust, flaky, light & perfect.

Freshly grown, cut green beans.
I forgot to take a photo of dessert which was a
beautiful presentation of raspberry sorbet, served with
pineapple and fresh grilled, thin lemon cookie.

This is the street where I live, my door is on the left,
the main house to the right, green door.
The hameau (hamlet) of Les Bessacs dates back to 1487.

Maintenant, au revoir mes amies!

A smile for Wednesday ...

Yup, looks like Provence. I see you are almost directly east of Avignon, which is definitely worth a visit. Bring home some Herbes de Provence for cooking.
