Second Wednesday means Eastside!
A group of eight artists who meets once a month to make art,
hear news, have important discussions, and eat.
Today we were four, really missing Erin, Norma, Libby & Josie.
Our host Jody, is in her new home and it's gorgeous.

A home full of treasures, I zeroed in on the beautiful giant beads?
But that was the theme for the day.

And the view!
Jody made a delicious brunch of quiche, potatoes,
strawberries, peaches with yogurt, tea and coffee.
Jody's project for us was a stretchy bead bracelet,
with a soldered charm on copper. She had samples.

Three had jewelry experience, so I had great teachers to help me.
I learned to prep the copper for soldering, use flux,
and ... I didn't get burned.

I made two bracelets, the first one took two and a half hours.
The second took just under an hour. Learning curve?

Thank you Jody, Linda & Sherrill for you patience.
Thank you Jody for sharing your new home.
