My day included a flu shot, check-up, chest x-ray,
new Rx and assorted yucky stuff. Some days are like that?
I salvaged the visit by getting this shot
of the windy palm trees.

Outside my studio window is a beautiful Christmas cacti.
The recent winds have battered the flowers,
but not enough to keep a sweet little hummingbird
from enjoying them today. Whenever a little bird visits,
it reminds me of Aunt Vonda, who loved birds.
She had a yellow canary, named "Bing" in her kitchen.
The tiny bird loved to sing. Aunt Vonda used to say ...
Bing sings "to beat the band."
