Back in 2015, on Day 1206 I wrote a blog titled
"Not a judge, but I juried anyway ..." (here).
This year I was honored and flattered to be asked to judge the...

a large and prestigious show open to all artists.

Held annually in the beautiful Huntington Beach Library.

A stunning venue, the architecture worth a trip in itself.

Three stories of modern beauty.

Well used and loved by the community and HBAL.

A thriving community of 250 artists, and a 501(c)3 nonprofit.  Monthly meetings include display of members’ art and presentations by acclaimed artists.
Juried exhibitions, shows and displays at our at our
Huntington Beach Library Galleries. Art Scholarship awarded.

Six divisions. Including Mixed Media ...

Photography.

Sculpture, craft and 3-D

Oil and acrylics

Drawing & Pastels

 Watercolor

Selecting three cash winners in each of six divisions,
plus Best of Show and the prestigious
Dvorman Family Award was daunting.
Honorable Mention receive gift cards.
Possibly pleasing 20 and disappointing 180,
but I tried not to think about that.

I do apologize for my quick photography  ...
which doesn't due justice to the beautiful entries.
I hope you'll be able to visit in person.
