I learned as a kid to not get excited.
Most often the big events got cancelled.
It was just easier not to get my hopes up.
But now, at this advanced age, I am excited!
WonderWoman is taking me to NYC!
Though I've been to most of the United States
& many wonderful parts of the world ...
I've never been to NYC.
I saw it from New Jersey, but that doesn't really count, right?
Our tickets are booked, we even have our seats.
Hotel reservations will be done tomorrow, and ...
I am excited!
